4 HALZEPHRON INN, NR HALSTON "A cracking inn with wonderful views across Mount's Bay, including St Michael's Mount in the distance," enthuses Mike Maguire, who praises the "great menu" and "excellent service".
What's more, the Cornish coastal path crosses the beach here, so it's also a good place for walking (see No 40).
Facilities at Gorran Haven include toilets, cafes and restaurants, plus there is a pay-and-display car park signposted as you enter the village.

The area's comprehensive network of footpaths provides plenty of wonderful walks.
